This is an essay I wrote for a class on Robert Musil at the University of Chicago.
Reading Der Mann ohne Eigenschaften in German was a tremendous challenge, and so I wrote the paper in English to let my brain cool off.
Musil is one of my favorite authors, so I’m sure I will post more on the topic of Essayism in the future.
